My story between cooking and passion
My name is Sergio Longo and I have been working as a private chef for over twenty years, bringing high-quality Italian cuisine directly to my clients’ homes, villas and exclusive locations.
My training began at ALMA, the international school of Italian cuisine, founded by the great master Gualtiero Marchesi, an absolute icon of Italian cuisine and the first Italian chef to obtain three Michelin stars. It was there that I built the technical and cultural foundations of my craft, learning the value of rigour, respect for raw ingredients and balance on the plate.
After ALMA, I gained six years of experience in Italy’s Michelin-starred kitchens, an intense and formative journey that allowed me to work at the highest levels, refining my technique, discipline and gastronomic sensibility. Those experiences gave rise to my current vision of cuisine: conscious, elegant, essential, but always deeply connected to taste.
Over the years, I have worked both in Italy and abroad, collaborating with private individuals, companies and luxury accommodation facilities. My mission is to create personalised menus that combine technique, creativity and carefully selected ingredients, transforming every moment at the table into an authentic and memorable experience.
I love combining tradition and innovation, telling the story of the local area through my dishes and enhancing each ingredient with care and delicacy. I believe that cooking is not just about preparing food, but also about creating a dialogue with those sitting at the table.
This is why each of my services is designed ad hoc: from the menu to the mise en place, from the service to the tidying up, I follow every detail with discretion and professionalism. When I am not in the kitchen, I continue to cultivate my passion by experimenting with new ingredients and techniques, participating in workshops and refresher courses, so that I can always offer a refined, contemporary and tailor-made proposal.
